Animal Crossing New Horizons: Ver 1.3.0

This game just keeps feeding to my addiction and I've only been playing it for less than a month. The summer update has finally landed with a whole bunch of new things to discover.I've also included my thoughts on the new update which you can find at the end of this post.I've provided the update notes by Nintendo and also some new things that I've spotted which they haven't included.Feel free to add anything in the comment section if you've spotted something new/fixed

General Updates:
  • Players can now wear a wet suit (can either be purchased from Nook's Cranny or with Nook Miles) and go swimming in the ocean
  • Players can catch sea creatures, which can be donated to the museum
  • New visitors to the island (one is posted later on in this post)
  • New items can be traded with Nook Miles
  • New Seasonal items have been added to the Nook Shopping Catalog (very exciting!), but are only available for a limited time
Fixed the following issues/New unlisted things by Nintendo:
  • The names of several fish have been fixed in Korean and Simplified Chinese (Nintendo)
  • Addressed issues to further ensure an enjoyable gaming experience (Nintendo)
  • The Camera app glitch to hide the HUD interface has been fixed.I'm hoping Nintendo will revert back to it, as a lot of Youtubers would use this to create content for the game
  • Saharah now allows you to make additional purchases without ending the conversation
  • Can no longer jump through waterfalls
I'm going to get down to the basics of what I love so far and what I'm not that keen on personally about the update:
  • You're able to swim around other islands and not just your own, including your friends and random islands
  • Quite a few new sea creatures and underwater items, which can be used to craft new things
  • One new recurring character called Pascal, which I'm sure is doing some wizardry as his beanie doesn't even get wet when swimming?Plus he keeps appearing out of nowhere
  • You don't have to randomly dive to find things, bubbles will show up
  • Different coloured wet suits. So far I've obtained red, blue and green which haven't been customised, but purchased or sent from a friend in the mail
  • Swimming is incredibly slow, to the point that you have to keep spamming the A button to go faster.I've looked on Twitter to see its a common annoyance, but I'm hoping Nintendo have included something later on in the game so you can swim faster
I'll update this later on if I find anything else, but so far its only a small thing thats bothering me and thats just swimming a little too slow.Let me know what you think of the new update and what your favourite features are so far :)

Digimon Dusk: Childhood Memories

I always love revisiting my childhood, especially when it comes to games as I pretty much grew up around them, right up to this day. With Pokémon being one of my top franchises, Digimon was also my favourite, especially when it came to Digivices which were a lot like Tamagotchis, and the highly addictive Digimon games on the PlayStation 1 and Nintendo DS.I decided to repurchase Digimon Dusk since my old one stopped working, picking it up for just £9.68, paying extra for first class signed for delivery which is is a pretty good price. It was just the cartridge, but as I already have the case, it didn't matter. It's one of my favourite RPG games from my childhood, and its a game I go back to everytime. Here is a small paragraph of the plot (taken from Wiki) to give you an insight of the game:

"A huge earthquake, caused by a mysterious virus, has stricken the SunShine an DarkMoon districts, damaging the access points to the Digital World and causing many Digimon to mysteriously degenerate to Digi-Eggs.In Dawn, rumours have spread that the Night Crow Team, from DarkMoon City, was responsible for the incident. However, a conflicting report surfaces in Dusk claiming the responsibility falls on the Light Fang team from the SunShine district. With both sides accusing the other, players will take the role of an opposing tamer to investigate and uncover the truth behind the dangerous tremors"

If you enjoyed Digimon World 2 and 3, there are a few similarities here, being the main character of the game battling the bad guys, whist aiming to be the strongest tamer in Night Crow (Dusk) or Light Fang (Dawn).I also own Digimon Dawn too, and I preferred Dusk over it, purely because of the whole Dark theme to it and having SkullGreymon in the starter pack at the beginning (even though its short lived).Alongside having all these kinds of Digimon, you also have types, with 8 different types.
For example, SkullGreymon is part of the Dark Group, which makes sense because he (I refer to it as male)has that whole dark/evil vibe to him. Each type has a super effective/weak against, so having a balanced team will help when it comes to battles.Other Digimon types include: Holy, Dragon, Beast, Bird, Machine, Aquan, and InsectPlant.Saying that, my team is currently made off MetalGarurumon (Beast), LadyDevimon (Dark) SkullGreymon (Dark), MetalSeadramon (Aquan), Cresmon (Dark) and Wendigomon (Beast).Throughout digivolving, the Digimon's type may change, which at the moment I could be on a slight disadvantage as the majority of my team are made up of dark Digimon, but what can I say?I love being slightly evil.Nevertheless, Digimon Dusk is a pretty damn awesome game and is worth adding to your collection of Nintendo DS games. Can be purchased here: Dusk and Dawn

Fallout 4 Pocket Watch

It was only a few days ago that I started to play Skyrim again while taking a break from Fallout, but it was very short lived as my new Fallout watch turned up today. At the time I was struggling to purchase any of the genuine Fallout 4 franchise, because it was quite expensive (sorry Bethesda) and their wasn't anything that I particularly liked.I went on Aliexpress and found this watch selling at a very cheap price for £2.38.The store feedback was very positive, which reassured me so I went ahead and ordered it.

The watch arrived this morning, with it just being over a month to get here, however due to the chinese new year, it took slightly longer but it was certainly worth the wait. The vault number 111 has been perfectly engraved on the front, with the gear surrounding it perfectly engraved too.Depending on the lighting, which you will see in the images provided on this post, it gives off a light/dark bronze chrome colour, and the pictures that are advertised on the website do not do it justice.
The back of the watch has a beautiful floral design, which I wasn't expecting at all, yet I really like it.This has also been engraved very well and don't see any issue of it even getting scratched or coming off in the slightest.I've purchased these type of watches in the past and they always came with a very short chain. This one comes with a 80cm (31inch) chain, and you have the option of either wearing it long or short.Despite the cheap price, its very sturdy and its held in place very well. You also have the option of using your own chain if your not keen on the colour or if its too long for your liking.
Just in case you were wondering, it is an actual watch, its not just for display, and it works really well.It comes with a screen protector, just like the front of the watch does too if you want to prevent it from getting scratched. The handle has a medieval design to it that I feel goes very well with the design on the back of the watch. It ticks fairly loud, so I'd suggest putting it away somewhere after wearing it if your easily annoyed by the sound of ticking. The button at the top of the watch that flips the front (111) down to show the time, isn't flimsy but you have to press quite hard for it to work (image below), which a pattern engraved on it too.

Overall for such a cheap price, I'm really happy with this watch and recommend it for people who are Fallout 4 fans themselves or for their friends, as it would really make a lovely gift.I've provided a link below to the seller page that I purchased this watch directly from, and its regularly on sale between £2-£3, so I would recommend picking one up now before they go up in price. If you have any more questions or want any more images of this watch please let me know :)

My Favourite Simple Skyrim Mods

Since Fallout 4 was released, I've been hooked on that game more than crack, like I literally would always find myself going back to it despite getting sick of Preston preaching about a settlement needing help. With it being valentines weekend, and not doing anything special, I thought I'd whip out my old trusty laptop and get back into some Skyrim. Now I'm not going to go all "PC is superior" on you, because I have had my fair share of Skyrim on the console, however in comparison to the PC version?PC wins hands down for me.This is mainly due because of the mods, where you have more options to customise your character, added clothes/armour, more textures, weapons etc you get the idea.Originally it was just about being able to customise my character to look like me, but then I took it a step too far and basically went for the "this is what I want to look like" character.I regularly share images of this game on my Instagram/Facebook, and get asked what mod is that and where to download it.I thought the best thing would be to do showcase of images with the mods and links on here, because it would just drive people nuts if I do each post seperately, plus the amount of time it would take too!*Please note I use Steam,Nexus Mods and SKSE.1 or more of these will be required for the mod to work correctly*
Remember when The Avengers came out in cinemas a few years back?During that time everyone was going nuts on the Steam Community making Ironman armour and Thors hammer, but I was sitting patiently for someone to make Loki as a follower.Amazing creator JP Doctor on Steam, achieved this, and it has been one of my top favourite mods because I've never once had an issue.Loki makes an exceptional follower, being very useful in sticky situations and also not getting in the way when your trying to take on a group of bandits. He comes with his helmet and electrical scepter than he uses during combat that can do quite a bit of damage. This mod doesn't need any required DLC for it to work which is a bonus.JP Doctor also has some other great followers too, check them out

The first image face structure wise and the second with the short top, gloves and shorts comes the mod "Temptress Race" by Psychos1s and Brokefoot on nexusmods. This was my first ever mod that I downloaded and started my addiction in downloading more.It gives you the option of having it as a player character or as a follower, and there are 5 to choose from.Your also given some quite seductive clothing, with goes well with the "seductive" traits this race has.For this mod to work correctly, you will need to download this hair mod by Apachii first, then you can continue to download Temptress Race.I chose to have hair hair option for my character, as long hair can interfere with collared dresses. To improve the face and make it more realistic, I recommend downloading "Luscious Faces" by Dretmo on Steam
Next up is this beautiful ice jewelled dress by Frigus on nexusmods. This was the second mod I installed alongside with the bodyslider, because I found the preset clothes on this game awful. This dress is fairly tight hugging, making my characters boobs bigger than they are, but it compliments everything else. The detail of the studs lining up to the collar at the back of the neck is beautiful, and it has a long split ice blue cape down the back (image at the end of this post)Its one of my favourite dresses for my character and the blue looks even better at the College of Winterhold. The only issue with this mod is wearing a necklace which may peep through clothing, and the collar will point through if your character has long hair. The red elven dress is a recent download by Naihaan on nexusmods and can be downloaded here

I'm sure its been pretty obvious for a while now, and if a game is open to mods, its going to be in the top things I search for: DOCTOR WHO!This is probably the worst photo I have of my character and the Tardis, purely because the decent ones had the stupid bar in the way and I had to crop it out everytime. This is the best Tardis mod I've come across, with the landing sound, full interactive Tardis, sonic screwdriver and being able to fly it to locations. It doesn't look like the latest Tardis here, however I have just learnt that the creator (ShatteredStell) on nexusmods, has updated it to the latest layout, so Id recommend for you to download it here.SKSE,Dawnguard and Dragonborn are required for the latest version to run correctly.
I tend to wonder around naked a lot, especially in the hot springs or around the house when no one is about, and the preset bodies are disastrous.I looked about online to find a body slider, with the majority being pre-set to either ginormous boobs(and I mean ginormous), or a Kim Kardashian ass which is way to much fakeness.I came across "Beautiful Bodies Edition" by Caliente on nexusmods, and it gives you a selection of more natural looking preset bodies. As seen from the back in this image, my character now has a very perky bum and her figure is hourglass with reasonable sized boobs. These can be altered to what you'd like, but this setting "Vanilla" is a pretty good natural body preset.
I was pretty late to jump on the Halo Bandwagon, but as soon as I did, I haven't got off since, and at some point my brain decided to look for Master Chief as a follower. Now before all you Cortana and Master Chief shippers get on my ass, I ship them too and I've only got him in my game because he knows how to get the job done and he's a good ally. Also Cortana makes a feature so there would be no way of getting in between these two.The mod was created by JP Doctor and DarkSeeker117, and the two voice actors, in my opinion that done a pretty damn good job are DawnEntirely and Karl Williams. It is available on steam here

That's it for now on my favourite mods, even though I have many more and there's better, it would just be a very long post.If your undecided on what platform to download mods from, I would always go for nexusmods, purely because the creators update more often, are easier to contact to report an issue, and the installation doesn't mess about compared to steam and SKSE but thats just down to experience.
