Revolution have continuously been rolling out more and more products recently, and I was so excited to see this pop up on social media from their new range: The New Neutrals Collection.I've been getting more into makeup recently and I'm very picky when it comes to eyeshadow shades and luckily the shade range of this palette ticked all the boxes for me.
It reminded me a lot of the Huda Beauty New Nudes Palette which I've wanted for ages, but I could never part with the astonishing price of £56 ($65) for it.This palette however costs only £12 and it packs one hell of a punch for a drugstore product. So to start off this review, I've provided swatches on my tanned skin below:
18 Swatches of these stunning shades in this palette
The palette contains a mixture of matte, reflective, pearl and glitter pigments, which were all used without a base on my arm.It also contains a cream base which will help prolong the glitter but considering I didn't use any as a base anyway, it still swatched beautifully.Below I've listed my pros and cons of this palette:
Pros: Cons:
- Beautiful gold packaging - Not really a con, but make the pans
- All of the shades are extremely pigmented larger of this palette!
- Easy to blend
- The pearl and glitter pigments can be applied with
your finger or a brush
- Minimal fallout
- Comes with a mirror
- No chemical smell
- Long lasting
Two makeup looks I created with this palette:
Two completely different eye looks, but both make the eyes stand out and to compliment the lip colour. The first photo is my usual daytime makeup, along with a dress that I was trying on at the time since losing weight (hence the crazy cleavage). The second image is more of a night/date night makeup look, giving me more of a daring appearance compared to the first one.My favourite apple red lip compliments the eyeshadow shade and brings the entire makeup look together. You can purchase this palette from Revolution Beauty or from Superdrug (where I got mine), if you want to get some beauty card points or try out the shades in-store.
