Big Hair Beauty Review

Hey Curlies! After using the Big Beauty Hair products over the past 4 weeks,I can finally post the review and photo results, and you will not be disappointed!I stumbled across there website back in March and the main thing that caught my attention first was there 90%-97% natural infused ingredients! This means there is no SLS,SLES, Parabens, Silicones, Synthetic Polymers, Petroleum, Mineral Oils and Harsh Chemicals. Pretty amazing right? There products are also more beneficial for curly, kinky and multi-textured hair too, but don't worry if you don't fall into this hair category as they cater for all hair types!

What I also found amazing is that there founder (Melissa) is so lovely and also takes the time to reply if you have any questions which is great because having the connection I feel personally makes the company grow as a whole and you feel like they are truly care on what there customers think.Anyway, I shall now go straight into the review of these products :D

Leave in Moisturising Milk:

"Our lightweight non-greasy leave in detangles, conditions and moisturises using over 97% natural ingredients.Hailed as a miracle oil, meadowfoam seed oil penetrates the hair improving its health by reducing water loss, keeping it hydrated for longer"

This was the first product I tried when I received these goodies from Big Hair Beauty. My hair tends to get dry quite easily, with my hair soaking up the majority of the water but not enough to keep it moisturised. This leave in does exactly what it says on the bottle and is one of the best products to keep your hair moisturised. Its also perfect to applying for Day 2 and 3 curls, I no longer have to wet my hair every single day to achieve moisturised curls. The product is watery yet kinda thick, but is easy to apply to the hair.I use a teaspoon sized amount as advised on the bottle which is perfect for my thick long curly hair. For those who maybe a bit fussy about scent, this hasn't really got a scent to it.

Price: £12.95

Ingredients: Deionised Water, Aloe (Vera) Barbadensis, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam Seed) Oil, Astrocaryum (Murumuru) Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, *Behentrimonium Methosulfate & **Cetearyl Alcohol, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Phenoxyethanol & Caprylyl Glycol (Eco-Cert Approved Preservative), Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)

Moisture Me Whipped Butter:

"We've lightly whipped nourishing avocado butter and a few select oils to create a luxuriously soft butter. It melts with ease, providing moisture without leaving hair feeling greasy and weighed down"

I want to talk about the scent first. The scent is orange and was the first thing I noticed when I opened this tub and my god I cannot get enough of it.Its not too overpowering but the scent does last in your hair the whole day which I love, because having hair that smells lovely is a bonus. When looking at the product however (even when the name is in the title) I was concerned, as my hair normally gets matted up with butter based like products which end up being thrown away. I completely misjudged this, and it has now become  one of my favourite hair products I have ever applied to my hair.It works alongside the moisturising milk which helps seal in the moisture but I've also used it stand alone and it still seals in the moisture that you have left in your hair.

My hair is left moisturised for the whole day, not needing to be retouched with the butter. It isn't left greasy or matted up even if I use a lot (for the scent) but other than that, this is a must have if you want to seal in moisture and have moisturised hair for the whole day.As some of you may know, I hardly ever have my hair in a bun due to my hair being too dry to stay maintained or it just looks like I've been electrocuted. After using these products, I decided to attempt to have my hair up in a bun which you can see in the pictures below. I've found nothing negative to say about this product and will be repurchasing more in the future.(left no flash, right with flash)

Price: £14.95 Ingredients: Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Seed) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil

Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment:

"Made to penetrate the hair by cleansing and restoring its natural moisture, shine and balance.Perfect for reviving tired, dull curls"

You all know how much I love my hair treatments and it takes a lot for a hair treatment to impress me let alone by sitting on my shelf, which is why I want to share how AMAZING this hair treatment is!.I currently have this in my hair while typing this which will help me explain more about it to you.Firstly once you've applied it to your hair (wet) you can instantly feel it working its magic already. There is a cooling sensation across the scalp and it really is quite relaxing. You can leave this treatment in your hair up to 20minutes which gives you time to relax or do some odd jobs around the house while your hair is getting nourished. This treatment still works a treat if you don't have the time to leave it in your hair that long, but I've noticed more moisture and shine by leaving it in your hair longer.

I also love that this has banana and honey infused in this treatment as they are two great ingredients for the hair. This treatment hands down is much better than any that have been applied to my hair, by far beating even the really expensive ones too!.The product itself has a clay texture to it but do not worry if you think your hair will get matted up by this. Its very easy to apply to the hair and also very easy to wash out, leaving your hair feeling clean, nourished and soft. There is definitely a noticeable shine (which you will be able to see in the photos below) and also leaves the hair moisturised.

Overall Big Hair Beauty is an amazing brand and I have now fully converted on using there products on my hair.Although its only been 4weeks, the difference in my hair is so noticeable which I'm sure you can agree on.I've never felt so confident on being able to go out with my curls and not worrying about my hair getting messed up or getting dry, these products have it all covered.90%-97% natural infused ingredients also makes you feel better knowing your hair is getting all the moisture and care that it needs, and achieving great results. You can also find my morning hair routine using there leave in moisturising milk here
