Superdrug is my number one retailer when it comes to shopping all things beauty and haircare, so you can imagine my reaction when I was given the opportunity to collaborate with them.It was also perfect timing as I had just started working out for 2weeks straight (thats a miracle for me!) and got given the chance to test out some healthcare products from there Some Body range

Strawberry Protein Powder 600g:

The first product that I tried was the Strawberry Protein Powder, which I was super excited about as I had only tried one other brand for the first time a few weeks ago.I want to point out before going further into this review, that I'm not looking to lose weight, but to be building muscle on my bum (its flat as hell),  stomach and legs.My schedule can be pretty hectic as well, so I dedicate at least 30minutes 2-3times a week on working out, to make sure I keep everything maintained.

Firstly, the taste of this shake is delicious and it surprisingly tastes a lot like strawberry milkshake when I use it along with semi skimmed milk.I've also tried it with almond, soya, coconut milk and water (recommended on the packaging) as I'm sensitive to lactose, but it doesn't taste as good in my opinion.Vegetarians can also use this protein powder.Below I've provided what this powder contains:
I've been using this protein shake for the past 3weeks, with at least 3-4 days a week worth of exercise.I use it to replace my meal for breakfast, drinking half of it before a workout, and finishing the rest of it afterwards.
Although its been only 3weeks (plus the 2weeks without the shake), I have noticed quite a difference when it comes to my thighs and bum.I've done the squat challenge in the past and I saw no difference, especially since back then I never understood about protein and building muscle, but I'm now actually forming a booty as shown in the picture above.I highly recommend it if you're looking to introducing protein into your diet/routine, as I'm so happy with the results so far.
You can purchase them in the flavours: Strawberry, Banana, Vanilla and Chocolate

Bellini Sparkling Water:
I'm not really a fan when it comes to flavoured water (or the taste of water in general), but I've been drinking this drink is delicious. It mostly tastes like peach, but its also flavoured with grapes as well, tasting fairly sweet.I had to cut out any drinks that contained high caffeine or high sugar levels, as it would give me the shakes and really affect my anxiety.

  • 0% alcohol
  • Zero calories
  • Suitable for vegetarians
  • Contains L-Carnitine
  • Zero sugar
  • Aspartame free
  • Natural flavourings
This drink helps to replenish my energy levels, mostly on days where I'm super busy following a workout routine. Its very refreshing as well, especially since now we've just started to get some hot weather in the UK.You can currently pick it up in two flavours: Bellini and Mojito

Cocoa & Orange Natural Bar:

Lastly I got to review one of there protein bars, which I was eager to try as I've tried so many.Although they are fairly small, they are quite filling and pack a lot of flavour.I ended purchasing some more from my local Superdrug, because I'm now hooked on these bars and they seem to be pretty popular with other customers too.You can pick them up in two flavours: Cocoa & Orange or Salted Fudge
  • High in protein
  • Low calories
  • Low in sugar
  • Soya free
  • Gluten free
I'm really happy that I got given the chance to try these out and that I've found a protein shake that really works for me.I recommend going to your GP first to discuss anything when it comes to the protein powder, just to make sure that you're allowed to take it.If I get the chance to try any of the other flavours, especially when it comes to the sparkling water and the natural bars, I will update underneath.
