September Treats

New month which means new stuff!Well can excuse for it I guess.I've recently come out of my makeup comfort zone and decided to purchase NARS and Anastasia products for the first time.Being a committed user to Maybelline foundation since the age of 17, I decided to go for something new and the shades that they offer have drastically changed over the years.NARS came up as one of the most popular foundations not just for coverage, but they also offer a large variety of shades, including one for my skin tone.If you've seen my look fantastic post, you know I failed the first time at guessing my shade(Cadiz) when it turned up broken, but this time I ordered the shade Barcelona and its perfect. Its offered great coverage so far, and really does leave you with that luminous glow.

Next up was the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade, in conjunction with my Garnier Olia hair dye (review here). My eyebrows are very similar to the hair on my scalp, some curl and I also have a scar on my eyebrow which causes hair not to grow in that area. For the past 3 months I had been using a eyebrow pen from china, which just made my eyebrows look way too fake and dark.Knowing that I was going to dye my hair black for the winter I decided to get the Dipbrow in the shade Granite, and although I'm not a pro when it comes to eyebrow shaping, it really does help with defining them.I'm still practicing and will be posting a review in the near future because it really does live up to the hype and is worth the money.

Red lipsticks have always been my thing, and with autumn just around the corner, it gave me another reason to purchase this.Urban Decay is another new product to me and I'm kind of mad at myself for not finding this lipstick sooner. While browsing through Feel Unique, they had a sale on there lipsticks so couldn't resist having a look.I was instantly drawn to the shade Bad Blood because it was a pure deep red, and also very similar to the lipstick shade Taylor Swift wears in the video "Bad Blood".Makes sense to purchase with no questions asked right?Good because that's exactly what I did. This is now my top red lipstick, for a number of reasons. Its matte, doesn't need touch ups, no smudging and doesn't smell/taste sickly. It also compliments my skintone very well too, not too light or too dark.I'm currently trying to decide on what lipstick I should get next from this range so if anyone has recommendations or ones I should avoid please let me know :)

OROFLUIDO Beauty Elixir was a product I stumbled across by accident. With my recent hair dye completely ruining my hair, I needed to fix it asap before it got worse. After recently becoming a Beauty Bay addict, I went on there site looking for an hair oil in the £5-£10 range. This is when I stumbled across Orofludio for the first time which normally costs round £20-£26 for a 100ml, and seeing it was on sale for £13, made me want it more. With amazon and other bloggers praising how good this oil is (even at full price), I had very high hopes for it.Using it in the past 72hours has brought life to my damaged hair, and is looking a lot better.I will be posting a review early next month letting you know how I got on, but so far so good!

Lastly is the Cantu Coconut Curling Cream which is the third Cantu product I've owned from this brand.Following the great results of the Curl Activator of this range, I decided to go with the Curling cream to see how well this would take to my hair.As I've only had it for 48hours,I've only used it twice so far.First time I used it on its own, which didn't really do anything for my hair apart from make it smell nice.I found this works great infused within the LOC method leaving your curls defined and moisturised.

I'm happy with my new products so far and will be writing a review to be posted next month :)
